Job Description

EcoVadis seeks a Senior Account Executive to join our highly successful Sustainable Finance - Private Equity Team in New York.  As an Account Executive, you will help EcoVadis expand our brand in the private equity sector and will work alongside other internal teams to continue the go-to-market of our private equity offering in the North American region.

The role builds a market position by developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with Private Equity accounts. Leading potential clients to an understanding of our solutions that are applicable to their situation, demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs

  • Close new Enterprise business consistently at or above quota level,
  • Conduct high quality meetings including a demos session of our platform with prospective clients in your territory via online conf-calls and face-to-face meetings,
  • Promote the company’s solutions addressing or predicting clients’ needs and objectives
  • Become an expert in Sustainability and Private Equity,
  • Represent EcoVadis at Sustainability and Finance focused events,
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s unique values and vision for the future

Given the steep growth of EcoVadis, your role and responsibilities will be permanently evolving and might encompass part, all or more of the above.

Qualifications

You must have an exceptional level of drive and a desire to pursue a career in Sales in an international and dynamic environment. You should have excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and sales skills.

What you need to have to qualify:

  • Bachelor's Degree,
  • 3+ years experience selling software as a service or consulting services to companies,
  • Over-achievement versus quota in past sales roles,
  • Advanced enterprise SaaS solution sales or consultative sales skills,
  • Experience approaching and building successful client and prospect meetings with GP/MD/C-level/VP executives
  • Experience in solution sales selling to private equity/debt or alternative investment markets. 
  • Familiarity with Sustainability, CSR would be a plus
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of North American financial sector business culture,
  • Superior communications skills and the ability to capture an audience during a presentation.  
  • Knowledge of the financial market, key stakeholders, understanding of financial products and e business culture will be a plus,
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Salary range: $120K - $130K  (Base) & OTE range: $240 - 250K
