Job Description

As a Sector Initiative Intern you will be working alongside the global head (Director Sector Initiatives) and support her in strategizing and improving the current offer. This includes creating new content for workstreams, refining the business intelligence and reporting tools for Sector Initiatives, developing Sales brochures and maintaining the Sector Initiative websites. The role is at the intersection between the Customer Success team (i.e. account management) and Sales (selling and creating Sector Initiatives). Depending on the candidate’s skills, he or she will participate in the roll out of the Go-To-Market strategy across the Sales team and in the qualification of opportunities in the market. On the operational side, the intern will occasionally take the lead on workstream projects conducted inside the various Sector Initiatives, as a support to the Project Manager in charge of the initiative. This creates opportunities to present in front of customers,  create content and presentations. Reporting and coordination is a separate, global function inside the Sector Initiative team. As an intern, depending on the level of activity, there will occasionally be a need to help out with urgent performance reports and administrative tasks related to the members’ proper technology and membership set up. 

The role is very rich in content, diverse in tasks and it permits to gain insights into industry verticals and their specific sustainability challenges. At the same time it will be a great experience to discover the criticality of SaaS technology and data mining to make sustainability at scale real and participate in the race against the clock of climate change and other burning ESG topics. 

Qualifications

  • Last year in Business, Supply Chain or Sustainability studies

  • Recent Bachelor's Degree, (Sustainability, Supply Chain, etc.)  

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and at least one other key European language

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present in front of a large group

  • Curious to try out new things

  • Perseverant and results oriented 

  • Strong teamwork skills and experience in project management (e.g. research project or similar)

  • Computer literate (MS office, Google Suite, Project management tools…)

  • Interest to work in an international and multicultural environment

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment

  • Commitment and passionate for sustainability

Additional Information

  • Minimum duration: 6 months full-time or 12 months 3 days a week (depending on your educational program).
