Job Description

You will support the Evaluation Services (EVS) team’s rapid growth by leading a team of sustainability analysts. The goal of your role is to manage a team of sustainability analysts while supporting local expansion of analyst operations (including, but not limited to, recruitment & interviewing), in line with the company’s business strategy.

As a Team Leader

  • Managing a team of 10-20 sustainability analysts

  • Promote and embody the company’s vision and values by leading by example

  • Drive team performance in line with EVS strategy & objectives

  • Define with EVS Management and with team members clear roles and responsibilities + ensure team ownership of them

  • Collaborate with fellow team leaders to share best practices

  • Develop, provide avenues for support, coach, motivate and reward team members

  • Guide the development of skills and competencies of team members including identifying training and development needs, etc.

  • Manage team members expectations

  • Create an environment oriented toward trust, open communication, creative thinking

  • Create a cohesive team environment while maintaining respect both within the team, and towards other team members

  • Support & give regular feedback

  • Create a healthy & inclusive work environment 

  • Conduct performance appraisals & salary review

  • Support the recruitment process including CV screening, interview, manage attendance & team capacity, etc

The job demands analytical, organizational skills and knowledge in the soft skills that will enable our employees to fit with our workplace’s culture and DNA.

  • The job is expected to have autonomy 

  • The job is expected to identify issues and propose solutions to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Context and environment 

Self-motivation & autonomy are a must. You will work closely with our Regional Lead for Southern Europe, and collaborate with other team leaders in the Southern Europe region.

Required Competencies / Qualifications / Experience / Profile 

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a relevant field

  • 2-3 years of experience in people management

  • Min 2-3 years experience in an international company with a fast paced environment, experience in an international consulting company is preferred

  • Good understanding of business operations and decision making processes

  • Proven ability to function as a leader

  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information and materials 

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and proven ability to work within prescribed timelines

  • Empathy, benevolence

  • Analytical and performance-driven mindset

  • Critical thinking and decision making

  • Effective time manager and multi-tasker able to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment-  Innovative problem solver 

  • Must be well organized / self-driven and autonomous (capacity to challenge)

  • Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills

  • Ability to translate and support the company strategy to team members

  • Knowledge of relevant software computer applications: strong skills in Google Suite and MS Office

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Team Player / ability to collaborate with others & work in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment

  • Fluency in English is a must. Demonstrated ability to pick up new skills proactively.
