You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Independent accounting of a Polish company (Sp. z o.o.) in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act (Fluent Polish is required)
• Responsibility for preparing and sending monthly and yearly tax declarations (CIT, JPK_VAT7M, VAT-EU etc.)
• Preparation and sending declarations for the GUS and NBP
• Preparation of financial statements
• Cooperation with the auditor and contact with the tax office
• Ongoing booking of documents and bank statements
• Verification of documents in terms of accounting and tax rules
• Posting and reconciliation of payroll (no calculation)
• Participation in the month end closing
• Participation in accounting and reconciliation of balances for other entities in the EcoVadis Group located in Europe and outside of Europe (good command of English is required)

• Preferred degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Polish GAAP accounting on an independent position
• Fluent Polish and a good command of English is required
• Practical knowledge of tax law (mainly CIT and VAT, also in international trade) and accounting principles
• Good computer skills (MS Office package)
• Experience in implementing accounting systems will be an additional advantage
• Experience in working in an accounting office will be an additional advantage
