Job Description

  • Coordinating the preparation and managing monthly and quarterly reports for the Management Board and Executive Committee regarding revenue, budget follow-up, cash flow forecast, billings / sales and operations, 
  • Providing analysis and interpretation of actual performance versus plan/forecast, and assessing the impact on future results,
  • Being a thought leader on revenue and cost drivers; synthesizing data to help drive key strategic/financial decision making,
  • Participating in strategic and operational planning processes, 
  • Continuously having a view on the performance of the various business units & forming strong opinions entrenched in data & analysis,
  • Managing the team of Experts/Controllers and develop the team to the higher level of competency,
  • Budget and business model building, tools improving, developing new standards, upgrading procedures and operational KPIs,
  • Acting as a Business partner to propose meaningful analysis regarding operational and financial KPIs, helping the decision making of other business units and optimizing the company revenue and productivity,
  • Participating in quick turnaround, ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to inform strategies aimed at enhancing profitability and accelerating growth,
  • Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the BU.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of work experience within strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles, including Financial Modeling, Budget and Profitability analysis, Variance Analysis, and Financial Reporting, gained in an international environment
  • Strong FP&A experience in a matrix organization
  • Experience in team management
  • High level of skills in controlling, reporting, IFRS
  • Ability to develop new standards, tools and procedures with a strong entrepreneurial and flexible approach
  • Proactive and able to meet tight deadlines / be able to turnaround quickly with answers
  • Needs to be able to think strategically to pre empt/adapt to a dynamic market 
  • Leadership experience in order drive the adequate behavior from various business units to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Experienced “going beyond the numbers” & ability to be an effective self-starter
  • Able to discern trends and consider the broad business implications in helping line management identify and exploit opportunities to improve performance
  • Results-oriented, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and who can operate effectively in a collaborative and matrixed environment
  • Critical, big-picture thinker who considers long-term trends and broad business implications when determining approach or recommending actions
  • A “can-do” team player that is passionate about the business and has a strong desire to continuously improve performance and service
  • A cross-functional leader with excellent interpersonal and communications skills who can quickly build rapport, establish trust, and develop effective working relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of PBCS would be a strong plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to build trust, collaborate, and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently
