Job Description

We are looking for a carbon accounting expert to support the deployment of the new carbon action module. You will play a key role in development of the new carbon rating methodology. You will lead and deploy GHG data management and verification protocols. You will be responsible for continuous improvement of internal processes, ensure alignment with GHG protocol and other carbon accounting standards.  

Responsibilities 

  • Build frameworks, processes and capacity building tools for managing supply chain GHG data collection and analysis

  • Develop, test and maintain data collection processes

  • Ensure alignment with the GHG protocol and other standards

  • Built internal capacity in carbon accounting and support deployment of new products 

  • Generate insight and thought leadership from supply chain GHG data 

  • Due to the steep growth of EcoVadis, you must be willing to turn your hand to other tasks depending on the company needs.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 year experience in carbon accounting and/or climate change mitigation

  • Masters' Degree

  • In depth knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting principles and application in the private sector, including Scope 3 categories

  • Experience with supply chain decarbonization strategies and/or supplier capacity building programs

  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

  • Fluency in English and is a MUST, additional languages will be a plus

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-growing international environment
