Job Description

The EcoVadis Global Customer Onboarding Plus team is looking for a Junior Onboarding Consultant supporting the team lead in all endeavors around the “customer getting started topic”. 

 

What is Onboarding Plus?

 

Onboarding Plus is a paid service targeting tier 0 and tier 1, multinational customers also referred to as Fortune 500 type customers. Deploying strategic corporate programs such as a sustainable procurement program, can be challenging for big organizations as it requires systematic cultural change and stakeholder adoption in often highly complex procurement organizations with large supply chains. To ensure the customer gets to the benefits and to the ROI of their EcoVadis SaaS solution contract early on, it is critical that all impacted employees, mostly procurement teams, understand how the program works, what they are requested to do and how to integrate EcoVadis in their procurement policies, processes and technologies.

 

The Onboarding junior would support the Onboarding consultant lead in the following key areas:

  • Continuously improve the working tools and workshop support material for the Onboarding Plus program

  • Prepare customer workshops, i.e. 

    • research about the customer’s sustainability strategy,

    • Analysis and segmentation of customer data points 

      • such as supplier data by category, country spend, recurrence,... 

      • Customer procurement organization

      • Customer procurement process and systems

      • Customer procurement guidelines, KPIs, MBOs

  • Interface with the Customer Success Managers who are the regular account managers of the customer

  • Contribute to the final recommendations or playbook delivered to the customer at the end of the program

  • Share the best practices with the CSM team via the CSM Intranet and manage the CSM Internet

  • Support with data consolidation and performance tracking of the overall Onboarding Plus customers which typically translates into number of suppliers launched by the customer for the EcoVadis rating and customer satisfaction with the Onboarding Plus program.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has a finished a 5-years course in procurement and collected job experience through either a first procurement position of 1 or 2 years or internships of several months in a procurement organization.
  • Candidates with a major in business and minors in sustainability / sustainable procurement are also welcomed. 
  • Knowledge of procurement systems is important but for a job starter not mandatory as long as the candidate has an affinity for technology and a quick understanding of complex management IS and how they impact the workflow of the customer.
  • Very good spoken and written English is a must. French is a plus. 
  • The position requires collaboration with various departments and we use a set of collaboration tools that may appear complex in the beginning. 
  • Excellent excel and data crunching skills are a must have such as analytical skills.
  • Summarizing key findings in a presentable powerpoint presentation is a plus.  

Ideally the candidate should be based in Paris.
