Job Description

EcoVadis is seeking to hire a Sr. Manager of our Global Customer Engagement team. This role reports to the Director of Engagement Services and will lead a team of 50+ people across various office locations & time zones. The role demands strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication, technical agility, collaboration, and a passion for continuous learning. This role will be a part of the core leadership team handling strategy development, tactical implementation, and scaling of our operations to onboard and retain EcoVadis customers. 

Key responsibilities include:

Business Strategy & Operations

  • Define the Customer Engagement strategy and execute to build processes, systems and implement tools to ensure target achievement for customer adoption and retention.

  • Develop and monitor metrics for success, both for customers and EcoVadis, and collaborate within Engagement and other business units to inform strategy based on quantifiable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with other departments to drive and implement positive changes in support of broader company initiatives

  • Recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness; report team accomplishments, achievements and productivity to top management

  • On-time delivery of assigned tasks, both ongoing and ad-hoc

People Management

  • Manage the Managers of the EcoVadis Customer Support and Customer Onboarding and Membership teams

  • Provide mentoring and coaching via regular one-on-one meetings to ensure Managers are aligning tactical decisions with the strategic objectives of both Engagement and EcoVadis.

  • Responsible for global team stability: Involved in recruiting when necessary, discipline, performance reviews for Managers, and planning while defining clear expectations and driving accountability & ownership

  • Re-prioritize and allocate resources across various team projects

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Business related discipline (Management, Business, Marketing)
  • Must be fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages would be appreciated.

  •  8+ years working experience in a customer onboarding/retention activities 

  • 5+ years management/supervisory experience (in-person & remote preferred) 

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication/presentation skills

  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement 

  •  Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  •  Demonstrate proficiency in G-Suite products, familiarity with Salesforce and Zendesk a plus

  •  Ability to work well in an international start-up team environment.

  •  Interest or passion for Sustainability a plus
