We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join the EcoVadis Marketing Team for a 6-month internship. We are seeking a curious, self-starter with fresh ideas and motivated to join a fast-growing international start-up company with a deep sense of our sustainability mission.

Activities may touch a wide range of areas include (examples, but not limited to):

Press relations support:

• Research and support on increasing and updating press distribution list for whole DACH region

• Support on communication and pitching topics for articles/interviews to media contacts -

Field Marketing Support

• Assist with event preparation and management, and related coordination with hosts / venues
• Support on marketing communication for events (online/social/in different languages)

Content and media related support (English/German/other languages):

• Updating presentations with the latest brand assets and messages
• Assist in researching and assembling content for communication with prospects and customers (newsletters, case studies, presentations, brochures, videos, etc.).
• Creation or proofing of banners/graphics for social adverts, video, etc.

Due to the steep growth of Ecovadis, you will contribute to other tasks as needed.

• Engaged in a University Degree program in a relevant area, preferably in Business/Economics, Marketing, or Journalism (The training agreement is mandatory).

• Fluency in English is required. Ideal candidate is German mother tongue or speaks at native-level, and extra consideration for a third language, ideally Italian.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of office software (MS Office and/or Google suite) required. 

• Understanding of press and relations is a strong advantage, or eager to learn; Comfortable doing outreach by email and phone (e.g. to media / publications, blogs and others to pitch articles)

• Additional skills that would be an advantage: Graphics (Photoshop/Adobe creative suite, inkscape, Gimp, Canva, etc.), multimedia/video editing. It would also be helpful to be familiar with online marketing or content management tools such as wordpress, social media platforms such as Linked-in, Surveymonkey, emailing platforms, etc., or eager to learn.

• Ability to multi-task and to deliver within deadlines.

• A “can-do” attitude.
