Job Description

EcoVadis seeks a Customer Engagement Specialist to join our highly successful Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging customers via phone, email, chat, webinar, etc.; assisting in the customer onboarding process and driving a high response rate

  • Identifying and targeting “at risk” customers (i.e limited activity, communication issues, etc.) and taking appropriate steps to understand their situation and drive action

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of your customers. This includes key industries, business challenges, and objectives to appropriately communicate EcoVadis product capabilities and associated business benefits to address their needs throughout the onboarding process

  • Understanding and communicating industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product and platform functionality,methodology and administrative services integral to the customer's success

  • Identifying risks to the customers successful completion of the EcoVadis evaluation process; working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information exchange.

  • Capturing customer-sourced insights, then proactively reporting as necessary to the Team Leader and other EcoVadis Business Units

  • Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required

Qualifications

You must have an outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of drive and a desire to learn new skills. You should have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to easily connect with others.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Business fluency in English and Russian is a must; proficiency in additional languages would be a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience preferably with international exposure in a customer service / onboarding / engaging role
  • Customer and quality oriented attitude
  • Interest in Sustainability would be a plus
  • Being open minded and flexible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management with strong organizational skills
