Job Description

To help EcoVadis in our extensive, sustainable and international growth, we are looking for a Deputy Global HR Director. We have a team of almost 600 amazing people and we are pursuing an ambitious growth objective, while maintaining our great culture. Our HR team is strongly committed and works in close partnership with team leads to recruit, develop, reward and make our talents happy.

The Deputy will be responsible for supporting the Global HR Director and working with HR Team to improve the structure and effectiveness of the HR department and strengthen practices in talent recruitment, talent management, compensation, organizational design, training and development.

HR Team will continue to work on processes to ensure that strategic goals of the company are enabled in the future, while maintaining the trust and confidence within the teams.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within HR management roles as well as in leading major HR projects in international fast growing environments with a mix of operational HR, business partnering and cross functional projects. Our rapid expansion requires a great ability to anticipate, lead the change and deliver quickly with excellent execution.

Outstanding people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics are crucial.

Objectives:

  • Partner with the Global HR Director in setting and driving HR operational strategy, budget and resources needs

  • Translate HR strategy into actionable goals for performance

  • Coordinate and execute projects to improve HR processes and tools for a high positive impact on people and business

  • Partner with managers and team leaders to control HR efficiency (budget, resources, processes) and develop their skills

  • Contribute to develop HR team members

  • Maintain a positive culture where team members thrive

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze HR processes and identify areas of process enhancement: scalability, efficiency, tools, security, decentralisation

  • Lead, coordinate and/or execute HR projects with local HR teams members, ensuring quality and deadline expectations are met

  • Help to set a decentralized decision making process and progressively oversee part of HR operational decisions

  • Set and follow-up the HR budget in cooperation with the Global HR Operations Manager, HR Teams and BU Managers to ensure an efficient implementation: HR costs, headcount and compensations

  • Contribute to structure compensations and benefits: compensation/bonus schemes, yearly salary reviews

  • Manage training and development strategy and implementation; contribute to a learning organization: budget, process, global programs management and sustainability, workshops organization and/or facilitation, leadership development

  • Help to identify and implement career paths, future leaders and succession planning programs

  • Set a process for work regulation compliance check in our countries

  • Contribute to new offices openings and follow-up office capacity

  • Provide expertise, guidance, advice; deliver training to local HRBPs to help them grow in their role

  • Identify and prioritize actions to ensure HR digital transformation and implement efficiently HRIS fitting the company needs

  • Monitor efficiency: adapt HR metrics and identify areas for improvement in recruitment, onboarding and other key activities

  • Develop reward and recognition programs

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of minimum 15 years as HR Director or Senior Manager at global or regional level, in growing companies

  • Master’s degree in HR Management with an MBA in Business Administration and/or outstanding track record

  • Strong international experience; native or bilingual in English
  • Strong HR operational skills in business partnering, contracts/administration, compensation, legal, communication, skills development

  • Successful experience of leading major global projects, as HRIS, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management

  • Ability to build and follow-up the HR budget, company compensation and HC budget

  • Excellent people leadership skills to ensure efficient coordination of teams and ability to lead people through change

  • Ability to solve problems with pragmatic approach, ensuring scalability and fairness in decisions and avoiding complexity

  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

  • Grasp of main labor law regulations constraints in several countries to ensure compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • High level of ethics and integrity
