Job Description

To fuel this global expansion, we are seeking an experienced and energetic marketer to serve as Customer and Supplier Marketing Manager.  

The marketer in this role will create, manage and execute marketing campaigns to help accelerate customer success, loyalty, and product adoption across both buyer and supplier customers globally. The ideal candidate will have experience working with an online business to drive demand generation through timely and relevant messaging, and reinforce customer loyalty through newsletters, nurturing programs, social media and other direct marketing channels.

A key to your success will be your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with minimal supervision, in a cross functional environment that includes talented colleagues in sales and marketing, product management, and customer success and support.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop buyer- and supplier-focused customer lifecycle programs aligned with business objectives. Programs include cross channel activities that engage and nurture customers across the customer buying cycle.

  • Coordinate messaging and develop supporting assets that maximize awareness and product adoption for designated campaign focus area.  Assets and activities may include email, webinars, social content, call campaigns, and events that map to appropriate target audiences and customer buying cycle stage.

  • Coordinate campaign deliverables across internal cross-functional teams to ensure programs are complete, on budget and achieve target objectives.

  • Drive the execution of multi-step direct marketing programs, which can include email, social networking, nurturing campaigns and online and offline events.

  • Track and analyze campaign results for campaign optimization.

  • Regularly report performance to key stakeholders and decision-makers to illustrate the impact of customer adoption marketing on the business.

  • Conduct other marketing projects as necessary.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in marketing, communication, business or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant marketing roles.

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing; ideally with B2B SaaS offerings.  

  • Experience with procurement-, supply chain-, sustainability- or compliance-related solutions a significant plus.

  • Strong understanding of the direct marketing process, from conceptualization to execution, testing and measurement.

  • Experience developing and managing successful direct response email marketing campaigns.

  • A self-starter and independent, while exceling at cross-functional collaboration, influence and alignment.  

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM (Salesforce and Pardot), social media platforms, and mastery of standard office tools (MS and Google Office).

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail; comfortable with managing detailed processes across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Have a discipline of data-driven marketing, monitoring KPIs and measuring ROI.

  • Excellent English language with strong writing skills; additional European languages a plus.
