Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned B2B digital marketing and demand generation team leader to run EcoVadis’ marketing operations in support of our global expansion. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of an award-winning startup that is first-mover in the Sustainable Supply Chain ratings space. You will be joining a team of over 40 nationalities, committed to improving social, environmental and ethical practices of companies worldwide. We are building on a phenomenal customer base of over 180 industry-leading enterprise clients such as Heineken, Subway, Nestlé, Salesforce, L’Oreal, Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, Nokia, GlaxoSmithKline and more.


Core responsibilities

This role will focus on the technical strategy and execution of our digital marketing and automation operations, supporting all corporate objectives including demand generation, brand awareness and thought leadership, and customer adoption.

  • Lead a team of 5+ marketers to drive key business and marketing metrics

  • Develop and optimize digital marketing strategies, tools and processes

  • Be the “best practices owner” of our marketing technology stack, including SFDC and Pardot, contact data management providers, content management tools, social media tools, reference and community management tools, etc.

  • Ensure strong execution of campaigns across various media, content, segments, languages and regions; this may include email campaigns, nurture, landing pages, social media, paid media, paid and organic search and more

  • Define your team’s processes such that campaigns and assets are instrumented correctly (e.g., redirect links, referral sources, funnel flow, etc.) to support reporting and optimization

  • Drive optimization of conversion in the funnel, including audience segmentation, inbound sales assignment for leads, nurture programs, lead scoring, and account-based marketing programs

  • Drive accurate reporting on performance across campaigns, channels and assets and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments to marketing mix

  • Support the team in maintaining data quality within the marketing database

  • Contribute to the definition of marketing KPIs and implement marketing reports and dashboards for executive communications

  • Evaluate, recommend and manage new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, business or a related field, Masters/MBA is a strong plus

  • 10+ years work experience, minimum of 3 years in manager/supervisor role

  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing / marketing operations / demand gen, including ownership of marketing automation (Pardot highly preferred) for B2B or SaaS company and reached a manager/supervisor level role

  • Past responsibility for defining and implementing KPIs, analytics, reporting and related functions (within Google analytics, Pardot/Salesforce reports, Tableau, Excel etc.) for optimizing campaign performance and conversion

  • Technically capable, excellent communicator (written and oral), with a desire to improve processes

  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in French and/or additional languages is very highly valued.

  • Mastery of standard office tools such as MS or Google office suite, basic image editing and graphics tools

  • Familiarity with Web CMS (e.g. Wordpress) and related integrations from Marketing automation/CRM (E.g. Pardot /Salesforce or equivalent)

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong international exposure

  • Organized and adept at juggling multiple assignments to meet deadlines

  • Able to work well in high pressure situations and flexibility to adapt to demands
