Job Description

EcoVadis is looking for a Client Onboarding Specialist to ensure customers achieve their desired outcomes, boost response rates,  and drive value throughout the EcoVadis onboarding experience.
This role interacts with all EcoVadis customers (buyers & suppliers) to provide a high touch service that respects the relationship of the customers with EcoVadis.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with customers via phone, email, chat, webinar, etc to assist in the customer onboarding process and drive a high response rate

  • Identifying & targeting “at risk” customers (i.e limited activity, communication issues, etc) and take appropriate steps to engage them proactively  to understand their situation and drive action

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of your customers. This includes key industries, business challenges, and objectives to appropriately communicate EcoVadis product capabilities and associated business benefits to address their needs throughout the onboarding process

  • Understanding and communicating industry best practices and the evolution of EcoVadis product and platform functionality, methodology, and administrative services integral to the customer's success

  • Identifying risks to the customers successful completion of the EcoVadis evaluation process and actively working to mitigate issues before they happen. Working with internal & external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information exchange

  • Capturing and recording internal and customer-sourced insights, then proactively reporting and contributing as necessary with the Team Leader, Management, and other EcoVadis Business Units to bridge gaps that may exist between customer expectations and participation

  • Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required, as participating in coordination of tasks and projects to improve company adoption, communication, awareness, and internal engagement processes

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Business related discipline (Management, Business, Marketing)

  • Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in German / Spanish / Portuguese / Russian / Italian is a must

  • Experience - at least 3 years and up to 5 years of working experience preferably with international exposure in a sales/support role (even if only dealing with international clients over the phone)

  • Ability to communicate with a client or a supplier as a first level support

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Customer and quality oriented attitude

  • Interest in IT Security will be a strong advantage

  • Willingness to work in a start-up team environment,  ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

  • High proficiency in Excel and Power Point
