You will take on the responsibility of leading the Engineering team in all matters related to Platform Security.

This will include:

• Defining the right-level of security best practices and promoting them throughout the Engineering team

• Performing security testing of all aspects of our product: infrastructure, code and processes, including penetration testing

• Monitoring and evaluating security controls throughout the Engineering processes

• Driving the efforts to automate operational security

• Providing guidance and mentoring to the development teams related to security best practices

• Researching, designing, and developing architecture solutions meeting internal and external security requirements and standards

• Comprehensive project leadership of multiple long-tail, cross-team strategic security solutions

• Creating of detailed project plans, architectural designs, processes & procedures for solutions

• Driving defense-in-depth security for the organization to protect critical IT assets and data

All of which will be in collaboration with the rest of the Engineering team.

You will have a passion for technology and for getting things done well, including a track record of problem solving and implementing security best practices.

You will also have:

• A University degree in computer science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the software or internet service industry

• A passion for finding security deficiencies in applications, networks or people/processes

• An in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication and security protocols and applied cryptography

• A working knowledge of application security assessment and applicable review methodologies

• An ability to provide prompt, clear status reporting across a variety of technical projects

• Fluency in English
