Job Description

  • Provide high quality, professional and responsive support service to all users across the business on a range of different technologies, hence allowing them to complete their job seamlessly.

  • Support and train end users.

  • Manage the technical documentation where appropriate.

  • Be the technical operational referral of several Information Systems.

  • Install, test and maintain desktop, servers and network equipment.

  • Troubleshoot system and network problems and solve hardware/software faults.

  • Patching network and phones.

  • Monitor WAN/LAN efficiency and take appropriate corrective actions.

  • Ensure High-availability of enterprise IT platforms.

  • Install and maintain anti-malware software.

  • Manage users accounts in accordance with HR requirement.

  • Manage, monitor and troubleshoot network systems including Firewalls and switches.

  • Manage monitor and troubleshoot different domains.

  • Manage monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory.

  • Manage inventory, stock and purchase of ICT equipment.

  • Manage/participate in infrastructure related projects.

  • Architect, supervise and participate in elaborating new on-premise and/or cloud IT infrastructures including hybrid systems.

  • Propose enhancement to existing procedures

  • Reporting on infrastructure support and systems.

  • Liaise with suppliers as part of project implementations and operational tasks.



Qualifications

  • Holder of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

  • At least 5 year work experience in IT Support environment

  • At least 3 years work experience on servers.

  • At least 2 years work experience on network equipment including management of VLANs and VOIP services. CCNA desired.

  • At least one year of Project Management experience

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows OS.

  • Excellent knowledge of information systems administration and networks.

  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure, AWS. Experience and/or certifications on these platforms is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent organization skills, ability to systematize and prioritize.

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Fluency in English and French required – written and verbal.

  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage a small team of technical persons for projects or regular operational tasks

  • Polyvalent and multitasking.
