Job Description

The Supplier Engagement team are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the quality, development and use of data from Companies being evaluated by EcoVadis. You will be responsible for a global team of data management juniors, responsible for the inflow and outflow of all data, as well as the supplier onboarding experience at EcoVadis including the Registration process. You will need to discover efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You will also be tech-savvy and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. The goal is to ensure that information flows timely and securely to and from the organization as well as within.

As a Data Manager you will:

  • Globally coordinate, plan and launch Data Collection campaigns

  • Manage, improve and evolve the Qualification process, to ensure incoming company data is accurate and produced in a timely manner.

  • Manage partnership with data providers (such as DnB), research and put into place other integration partnerships if deemed necessary.

  • Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management company-wide.

  • Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data

  • Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects

  • Create and enforce policies and processes for effective data management

  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data

  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed

  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)

  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as Data Manager (3> years)

  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)

  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience with Salesforce would be favourable

  • Prior experience in setting up partnerships with BPO would be preferable.
