POSITION OVERVIEW - The position is a remote position. No relocation provided, must currently reside in the USA.
The Solutions Architect is responsible for strategically designing and deploying Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions that align with customer needs and drive business outcomes. This role involves understanding complex business challenges, translating them into actionable requirements, defining solution strategies, and leading project teams to successful implementation.
Working closely with both business and technical stakeholders, the Solutions Architect ensures that solutions are aligned with customer goals and organizational capabilities. In addition to implementation leadership, the Solutions Architect supports pre-sales efforts and business development initiatives.
As a subject matter expert, the Solutions Architect provides technical guidance to customers and serves as a leader within EAC, offering direction and support to project teams and cross-functional groups.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead customer teams by fostering collaboration across departments, sharing knowledge, and providing strong technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external clients, leveraging subject matter expertise to design and implement innovative PLM solutions that drive customer success.
- Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams during project execution, ensuring alignment, timely delivery, and achievement of defined outcomes.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design comprehensive PLM solution strategies, including system architecture, hardware, and software components, tailored to meet customer-specific goals and environments.
- Identify and analyze customer challenges, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, business development, and technology teams to ensure proposed solutions align with both customer expectations and organizational capabilities.
Data Management & Migration
- Lead and execute data mapping and migration activities to ensure accurate, consistent, and seamless data transfer between systems.
- Document data mapping structures, transformation rules, migration strategies, and supporting technical details to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on working with data in the new system, promoting user adoption and effective utilization.
Enablement & Continuous Improvement
- Deliver ongoing support and mentorship to project teams and stakeholders, continuously improving processes and technical standards.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and process refinement based on project insights and customer feedback.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on evolving company needs and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required; 10+ years preferred in a similar Solution Architect or technical consulting role.
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience with PLM solutions, including infrastructure design (hardware, software, networking) and data management.
- Must have hands-on experience with PTC technologies, including Windchill, ThingWorx, and Creo.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies and programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, PHP, RESTful APIs, C, C++, and SQL.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and experience in designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces.
- Preferred experience with ERP connectors and integration with enterprise systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Solid understanding of database concepts, data modeling, data connectivity, and data shaping.

- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to remain effective and composed under pressure and in time-sensitive situations.
- High degree of collaboration and accountability, with a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality results.

Additional Information
COMPENSATION
- Base Annual Salary is $100,000 -120,000 for this salaried, exempt Full-Time remote position
- Eligible for up to 5% variable pay
