POSITION OVERVIEW - The territory for this position is the Chicago Metro Area. We are looking for candidates who reside in the Chicago Metro Area.

The Enterprise Sales Executive will support the PTC Business Unit through lead generation, acquiring new logos, and driving qualified opportunities for sales focusing on managing and closing large, complex sales deals with companies. As an Enterprise Sales Executive, your primary function is to develop new business while fostering relationships with key personnel from existing customers. In addition, you will represent and sell the full product suite EAC has to offer in the assigned territory. This includes software sales, implementation, training, process consulting, and engineering solutions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth

  • Achieve assigned revenue targets by selling software products and EAC solutions to companies, focusing on high-revenue new business development.
  • Drive sales of subscription-based and perpetual software licenses while staying informed on SaaS and technology adoption trends.
  • Build and execute territory-specific go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing, services, and technical teams.
  • Identify and develop strategic account plans for high-value clients to ensure long-term revenue growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly pipeline activity metrics and KPI goals set by sales management.

Client Engagement and Account Management

  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients; strategize, present, and demonstrate tailored technology solutions.
  • Regularly engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers to position EAC’s offerings as strategic business enablers.
  • Ensure proactive quarterly communication with every EAC customer to strengthen relationships and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while maintaining and growing sales within existing accounts.

Pipeline, Forecasting, and CRM Management

  • Maintain a pipeline that is three times the assigned quota across all quota categories.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate revenue forecast in coordination with the Regional Director of Sales.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate records in the corporate CRM for prospecting, pipeline tracking, and account management.

Collaboration and Team Alignment

  • Collaborate with internal pre-sales and technical consulting teams to align proposed solutions with client needs and ensure successful implementations.
  • Actively contribute to marketing efforts, including seminars, webcasts, and customer appreciation events.

Market Insights and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed on competitive offerings and industry trends to position EAC as a leader in the marketplace.
  • Provide input on market feedback to influence product development, service offerings, and strategic positioning.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in EAC’s full portfolio of products, services, and value propositions.

Professional Representation and Other Duties

  • Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to address the unique challenges of each prospect.
  • Attend in-person or virtual sales demonstrations, trade shows, or other customer-facing events as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on company needs and priorities.

 

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.  

  • Associates or a Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or a related field is preferred. 
  • 7-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the software, SaaS, or technology fields, with demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding quotas.
  • Must reside in the assigned territory or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, account management practices, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (NetSuite preferred) and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proven ability to build rapport with customers, navigate complex sales cycles, and close deals with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to understand and pass training courses related to the technology, products, and services EAC offers to the client. 
  • Must be able to process information gathered quickly and effectively to overcome objections. 
  • Demonstrated a successful track record working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Must be capable of managing multiple tasks with time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail to achieve the customer and company goals.  
  • Must be able to travel within the assigned territory building relationships, selling opportunities, and attend after-business-hours events as required.
  • Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output. 

Additional Information

COMPENSATION

  • Base Annual Salary is $120 K for this salaried, exempt Full-Time remote position
  • Annual OTE potential of $250+ K
