The Senior Sales Executive – Software Sales will spearhead EAC’s PTC Business Unit growth by leading strategic sales initiatives, acquiring new business, and driving revenue through innovative solutions. This experienced role is critical to expanding EAC’s presence in the software sales domain, forging high-value customer relationships, and ensuring long-term success in a competitive marketplace.

Job Description

Strategic Prospecting and Business Development

  • Develop and execute advanced strategies to identify, engage, and secure high-value prospects.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities with C-level and senior decision-makers across diverse industries.
  • Leverage market insights to anticipate client needs and position EAC’s software solutions as critical enablers of success.

Market Expansion and Territory Leadership

  • Define and implement growth strategies to expand EAC’s footprint in assigned territories.
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify new opportunities, optimize territory coverage, and prioritize high-potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine account strategies and create impactful value propositions.

Executive-Level Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders at prospective and existing customer organizations.
  • Act as a trusted consultant, understanding client objectives and presenting tailored solutions to address business challenges.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by providing strategic guidance and insights that align with client growth goals.

Sales Leadership and Goal Achievement

  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead complex negotiations to close large-scale deals, effectively addressing objections and navigating challenging scenarios.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to drive superior outcomes.

Industry Expertise and Market Advocacy

  •  
  • Maintain deep knowledge of EAC’s product offerings, competitive landscape, and emerging market trends.
  • Represent EAC at high-profile industry events, trade shows, and customer forums, positioning the company as a leader.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the transformative impact of EAC’s software solutions.

Mentorship and Collaboration

  •  
  • Provide mentorship to junior sales team members, fostering skill development and encouraging best practices.
  • Actively contributes to cross-departmental initiatives, sharing market insights and influencing product development strategies.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives and market initiatives.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.  

  • Associates or a Bachelor degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years sales experience preferably in the software or technology fields.
  • Must reside in the assigned territory or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment.
  • Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, confident, results-oriented, and a self-starter.
  • Deep understanding of software sales cycles including complex deal structuring and strategic account management.
  • Must be able to process information gathered quickly and effectively to overcome objections.
  • Must have problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, presentation skills, and professionalism.
  • Must be able to understand and pass training courses related to the technology, products, and services EAC offers to the client.
  • Demonstrated a successful track record working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals
  • Expertise in CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite) and proficiency in productivity software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Must have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with an ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing internal resources effectively.
  • Must have ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task, and meet the project and corporate goals while working in stressful situations.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently with focus and discipline to achieve the customer and company goals.
  • Must be able to travel within the assigned territory building relationships, selling opportunities, and attend events after business hours as required.
  • Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output.

 

Additional Information

COMPENSATION

  • Base Annual Salary is $100 K for this salaried, exempt Full-Time remote position
  • Annual OTE potential of $200+ K
