• FTE: Full-time 5-month position available
• Location:  Based in Ringwood (on the lands of the Wurundjeri peoples) with travel required
• Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 based on experience and qualifications + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Your Role
Reporting to the Program Director, Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs, the Senior Project Manager will provide dedicated leadership across a portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives. You'll establish clear ownership, governance and momentum across complex pieces of work, coordinating stakeholders, removing barriers and ensuring progress is visible and sustainable.

Working closely with program leaders, operational teams and subject matter experts, you'll drive delivery across priority areas including clinical governance, service development, digital innovation, partnership readiness and business continuity, while providing concise reporting and escalation of risks and decisions where required.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate a portfolio of priority projects across Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs services, ensuring clear scope, governance, milestones and delivery plans. 
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, risk registers, action logs and decision records to support successful project delivery. 
• Collaborate with operational leaders, enabling functions and external stakeholders to progress key initiatives and manage dependencies.
• Prepare executive briefs and concise progress reports outlining achievements, risks, recommendations and decisions required. 
• Drive progress across priority initiatives including clinical governance, student placement models, service governance, digital innovation, growth readiness and business continuity planning. 
• Identify barriers to delivery and escalate matters requiring broader organisational support or executive decision-making.
• Provide short-term operational leadership support when required to maintain service continuity.

About You
You are an experienced senior project leader with a track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects within mental health, alcohol and other drugs, health or community services environments.

You thrive in ambiguity, can quickly establish structure and momentum, and bring strong stakeholder engagement, governance and influencing skills. You're comfortable operating across both strategic project delivery and operational leadership settings, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a focus on outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience in senior management or senior project leadership roles, within Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs services. 
• Demonstrated success leading complex reform, integration, service development or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in contract, budget, risk and stakeholder management.
• Strong project governance, planning, reporting and delivery assurance capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in health services management, business, management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel between Each locations as required.
