Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers, database administrators, ETL teams,
and project managers to create compelling business intelligence content using
TableauParticipate in SCRUM teams
Prototype reports for customers and respond gracefully to
changes in requirementsCreate schedules, resource plans, and implementation
documentation for medium -to - large size projectsAbility to work closely with clients at various levels within
the organizationMust be willing to work in Richmond, VA and travel up to 30% of
the time
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
2+ Years developing Tableau reports using Tableau desktop and Tableau server
1+ Years developing Cognos reports using Cognos Report Studio
3+ years of health care experience, especially focused on claims, eligibility and quality
of care analysis3+ Years of experience writing free - hand SQL queries. Excellent command of ANSI SQL.
Solid 5+ years of hands - on overall experience
with Data Warehouse technologies within the domain of ETL / data integration,
Business Intelligence, relational and multi - dimensional database systemsStrong organization skills and ability to set priorities and
schedule work deadlines.Very good verbal communication skills
Good written skills and proven ability to produce project
deliverables in a clear and concise fashionExperience with application development including full life
cycle activitiesMentor and lead other staff that require training and guidance
Coordinate cross functional resources; experience managing both
direct reports as well as indirect (matrix) personnelBachelors or Advanced Degree in a related field such as
Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Analytics,
Business TechnologyPreferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in quantitative methods or public health with a
strong quantitative methods backgroundExcellent understanding of SQL analytic functions.
Understanding of inferential statistics
Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience
Strong presentation skills
Knowledge of fraud, waste, and abuse detection
Experience with Teradata and / or other RDBMS platforms
Experience leading requirements sessions with client teams
