We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled professional Vehicle Painter from a Paint & Panel background, or an Automotive Wheel Edge Repair Technician looking to step into a cleaner, more refined, and professionally run environment.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high‑quality finishes and delivering excellent results for customers and dealerships.

This is a rare opportunity to work within one of Victoria’s premier automotive workshop facilities, supporting some of the country’s most prestigious vehicles.

Responsibilities Include:

• Vehicle painting
  • Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
  • Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
  • Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
  • Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
  • Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
  • Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
  • Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
  • Painting signs and artwork on vehicles
  • Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
• Automotive wheel edge repair
  • Repair curb rash, scuffs, scratches, and minor dents on alloy wheel edges
  • Sand, fill, shape, and refinish wheels to manufacturer standards
  • Colour‑match and apply paint, clear coat, or polish finishes
  • Inspect wheels to assess repair suitability and safety

• Proven experience in wheel edge repair or paint & panel
• Exceptional eye for detail and finish quality
• Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
