Salary: Starting at $52,000

Job Description
What You Get To Do:
As the Program Director, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who reside with contracted Family Home Providers. You will oversee the overall quality, compliance, and daily operations of the assigned program while supporting both the individuals receiving services and the providers who welcome them into their homes.
The Program Director will ensure each home provides a safe, supportive, person-centered environment that promotes independence, community involvement, personal choice, and an enhanced quality of life.
Main duties include:
- Coordinate and manage the overall operations of assigned Family Home Provider programs.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with Family Home Providers, individuals receiving services, guardians, families, case managers, and other members of the support team.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, guidance, and performance oversight to Family Home Providers.
- Ensure provider orientation, required training, certifications, documentation, and ongoing development are completed and maintained.
- Conduct regular home visits and monitor the safety, cleanliness, quality, and overall environment of each Family Home Provider residence.
- Monitor all aspects of service delivery, including the development and implementation of individualized goals, support plans, behavior strategies, and person-centered outcomes.
- Review program documentation, incident reports, medication records, financial records, and other required materials for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure services and provider homes remain compliant with licensing requirements, contractual expectations, applicable regulations, person-centered practices, and Dungarvin standards.
- Direct care as needed at programs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and other nontraditional hours.
HOURS:
- Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm. Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on call every 5 weeks. This includes weekends and odd hours
Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study preferred.
- At least 1 year full time, direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
- At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development disabilities
- Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
- Valid driver’s license
