Senior Tax Analyst - International Tax Strategy



We have an opening for a Senior Tax Analyst - International Tax Strategy. The selected candidate will have the option of working out of our Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH office. The Senior Tax Analyst International Tax Strategy position is a dynamic position that supports the International Tax
Strategy group with various international tax planning and compliance projects that directly impact shareholder value. Tremendous opportunity for recent graduate or working professional to become a member of a dynamic organization focused on value and excellence.

Position Details:
Performs tax research on a variety of issues, including, international tax provisions of the US Internal Revenue Code, US rules related to corporations and partnerships, tax treaties, and US inbound/outbound taxation.
Assists with various international tax projects including: cross-functional Legal Entity Simplification projects, internal legal structure reorganizations, efficient cash management, and non-US host country tax planning.
Assists in the international tax compliance and provision process including preparation of US international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, etc.), earnings & profits and tax pool calculation/maintenance, statement/election preparation, and IRS audit support.
Provides support for modeling and quantitative analysis.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year accounting/tax experience
No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50 mile radius of Houston, TX will be considered
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
CPA and/or MTAX preferred
2+ years of tax experience preferred
Previous international tax experience a plus
Compliance experience
Big 4 experience preferred
Computer skills including working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point.
CorpTax, SAP or Oracle experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a highly dynamic environment.
