The Medical Laboratory Scientist or MLT performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties. Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, rest result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.

Must be a graduate of an NAACLS approved School of Laboratory Science with an
Associate degree or equivalent with a minimum of two years of experience. Must also be registered or eligible by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or registry of equal status.
