Position Summary: Responsible for the coordination of the activities of the Accounting Department including general accounting, accounts payable, budgeting and reimbursement. Responsible for accurate, timely reporting of financial and statistical information to senior management and corporate. Provide financial advice to the Management Team to achieve the overall institutional objectives. Responsible for the preservation of hospital assets. Miscellaneous deities as assigned. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Position Qualifications:
(including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge / experience)
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Supervisory experience required.
Preferred: Masters degree in Accounting or related field AND/OR CPA prepared.
Experience/Skills:
•4+ years experience in Hospital or Healthcare Accounting
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•Extensive computer skills in a financial capacity
2+ to 5 years experience
