Job Description

Primary Job Function

Leads teams of in-house attorneys in acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, equity investments and other sophisticated transactions for all our businesses, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions. Works closely with senior leaders in all our businesses, as well as those in the Legal Division, Corporate Licensing & Acquisitions organization, and other Corporate functions. Manages outside counsel.  

Core Job Responsibilities

Will be actively involved in all aspects of sophisticated transactions, including structuring transactions, performing due diligence, negotiations, drafting agreements and advising internal constituents. Will be called upon to identify issues, develop and evaluate alternatives, provide advice and implement solutions in the context of complex and significant transactions.    

Must have excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, communication skills and organizational skills.  

Must be able to balance attention to detail with big picture perspective and focus on execution.  

Must be able to perform well in a complex, matrixed environment, with the ability to lead, mentor, collaborate, teach and learn from others.  

Must be able to integrate contributions from multiple sources, as well as own knowledge and experience to make high impact decisions with limited information.
