Job Description

The automotive industry is known for the high standards it imposes on all the participants in the value chain. Quality standards are driven by the Original Equipment Manufacturers and are usually governed by the ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System. The Manager Global Quality Governance will be responsible for leading the Quality Governance organization. This role will implement and maintain processes improving quality globally. It will also ensure harmonization of these processes and policies. 


 


Principal Responsibilities:


Lead the Quality Governance organization including management of direct reports


Deploy and control global QMS Governance


Establish, implement and maintain processes (global procedures, global guidelines) needed for the Quality Management System – supervision of translation to local work instructions


Coordinate Management Review


Global harmonization of:


Nonconforming Products & Activities


Customer Complaint Management


Quality Control (Analytical Testing Services)


Auditing (internal / external)


Prepare and supervise audit plans


Control of documents and records


Continuous Improvement Process


Report the performance of the Quality Management System to Director Quality & Excellence


Develop and improve measures of Quality Management Systems


Communication of QMS related issues in the organization


Control of preventive action fulfillment

Master’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or higher

5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Product Stewardship or Continuous Improvement disciplines required

5+ years of leadership experience required

Expertise in Risk Management

Expertise in Project Management

Prior automotive quality experience preferred
