Job Description

 The Pre-transplant coordinator II facilitates and coordinates all aspects of the transplant referral, evaluation, waiting period, and peri-operative phases of transplantation. The coordinator interacts with all members of multi-disciplinary transplant team to ensure coordination of care for the pre-transplant patient.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Texas RN License 

CPR through AHA 

Transplant Specialty Certification (CCTC) Required 

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have two years’ experience as a transplant coordinator. Experience working in inpatient transplant is a plus without coordinator experience. External candidates with minimum 2 years Transplant Coordinator experience required to obtain certification within 1 year of employment)

IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE WORKED FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPANY(IES): 

St. Luke's, Memorial Hermann, St. Joseph, Texas Children
