Job Description

 Main Responsibilities

Manage assigned sourcing categories.

Maintain sourcing category strategies, addressing a multi-year horizon and achieving alignment with eBay Inc. business strategy.

Develop and execute sourcing based strategies for responsible areas.

Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of sourcing initiatives end to end.

Execute vendor management/risk processes.

Create and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners.

Consistently create, present and implement process improvements within the organization.

Maintain knowledge of market trends including analysis of market drivers, cost structures and technical improvements

Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education required to perform job

Basic Qualifications

A degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management. MBA preferred.

5+ years experience in sourcing environment.

Experience must include negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements

Experience within the technology or financial services industries preferred.

Strong leadership skills and ability to assume leadership roles.

Supply chain experience managing cross functional teams in a fast pace company.

Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fluent in English.

Exceptional ability to solve problems.

Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, supplier relations.

Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).

Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Productivity applications required
