Job Description

Wheel and Transportation Products business unit, this position will support the our operations in Barberton, OH. The electrical technician will perform electrical trouble shooting and maintenance while executing on preventive maintenance initiatives to provide continuous operation at the facility. Essential duties include:

• Maintain PLC communication

• Install and maintain electrical systems in foundry operations

• Conduct heat treatment and ultrasound procedures.

• Dedicate to the execution of preventive maintenance program.

• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly at all times and respond to issues promptly to support the facility.

• Facilitate safe and effective solutions and implement promptly to prevent interruptions to the continuous operation of the facility

• Visualizing projects to determine materials required to complete task

• Determine assembly and sequence of operations to complete a task

• Analyze problems and recommend solutions to improve plant equipment and facilities

•Diagnose, interrupt, access and correct problems in manufacturing processes

• Make adjustments to equipment in the production process to ensure part quality and promote continuous improvement
