Job Description

Sr. Staff Accountant

We are a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded healthcare, pain management and fitness products for the rehabilitation, therapy, and professional wellness markets. Through its Performance Health portfolio of market leading products---including Thera-Band®, Biofreeze®, Bon Vital’®, Perform® and Prossage brands--- we are the number one provider of product solutions to physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and massage therapists with strong and growing business extensions into consumer retail, International markets and a legacy specialty manufacturing business.  

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare Journal entries for month and year-end close

• Reconcile and analyze various general ledger accounts

• Prepares account reconciliations and supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts

• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales/use and medical tax returns

• Assist with year-end audit schedules

• Calculate Co-Op payments

• Ad hoc requests as needed

Skills/Experience/Education requirements:

• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred but not required.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. 

• Bachelor degree in Business or Accounting

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience 

• Advanced skill using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
