Job Description

As a key member of the IP-MobileCast team, this person will implement code; build web applications, web services and application services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•          Software development contributor to the IP MobileCast Product -

•          Develop web apps and web services for IP MobileCast Product.

•          Work directly with IP MobileCast development team.

•          Implement code based on requirements specifications.

•          Work with other team members, fine tuning requirements.

•          Build web applications, web services, and app services.

•          Work in Agile + Scrum development process environment.

•          Develop code in TDD fashion.

•          Write use cases and test cases.

•          Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix defects.

•          Communicate and provide advice perfecting the product

Qualifications:

•          BS in Computer Science.

•          Object oriented programming.

•          Linux operating systems.

•          Knowledgeable with MVC design pattern.

•          Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, GIT, Hiroku/AWS, MySql, PostgreSQL, UnitTest, JBuilder, Passenger.

•          JQuery, Javascript, and JSON.

•          Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome debugging.

•          Strong team skills.

•          Able to work in a fast-paced hi-tech environment.

•          Strong willingness to learn.

•          Desire to constantly improve programming skills.

•          Willing to take risks, make mistakes, improvise, and converge on optimal result
