Job Description
Drivn Technologies is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer with strong experience in the following Frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript libraries, React or Angular.
This person will become a member of our client´s global Development Team, working collaboratively with other teams in different regions. Therefore, they need to be professionals that can solve technical issues and identify trends and opportunities for new features and system enhancements.
Key Responsabilities:
- Developing front end code for highly visible marketing and eCommerce Websites
- Implement high fidelity, responsive front-end layouts from creative comps
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front end code in applications
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility of front-end code across devices
- Collaborate with fellow team members on large accounts, understanding the operations and execution to meet project expectations
- Establish presentation layer technical requirements
- Produce interim deliverables (such as style guide components, technical specifications, browser + market analysis, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.) to the final live site or application.
- Participate in the authoring of technical and business requirement documentation
Qualifications
- 4+ years proven working experience in Web Development
- Creative hand-coding experience with rich pages in HTML5, CSS (SASS/Less), and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of front end best practices and:
- JavaScript programming language
- Integration of web pages and applications with RESTful Webservices
- Node-based workflow and build systems such as Webpack
- Modern web development practices including implementing responsive design and mobile-first layouts
- Experience with Javascript libraries such as React or Angular
- Adeptness with:
- GIT and best practices for version control across distributed teams
- Custom templates (Editable and Static)
- Custom client libraries
- Multilingual websites
- Working experience on scrum teams in an Agile context
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. English B2+ or above is required
Great if you also have:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer certification is a plus, experience with, or ability to learn:
- Building websites for AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service
- Developing custom components using HTL
- Experience working with React and Redux
- Experience working with Angular and NgRx
- Some proficiency in UX design, information architecture and/or graphic design, but prefer to code!
