Job Description

  • Lead and manage store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency, quality, and strict adherence to company standards
  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members while providing constructive feedback and meaningful support for their professional development
  • Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and a genuine customer-focused approach
  • Handle cash management responsibilities, including processing transactions, reconciling registers, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Answer phones, take orders, and manage customer communications in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment by overseeing cleaning duties and operational standards
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and supply ordering to optimize store operations
  • Resolve conflicts and operational challenges with a decisive yet collaborative approach
  • Communicate transparently with management regarding operational issues, employee performance, and customer feedback
  • Analyze store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and strategic growth
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and standing for extended periods
  • Support team members in achieving individual and store-wide goals through motivational leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and customers
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure while maintaining quality standards
  • Proficiency in cash handling and money management
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
  • Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting and motivating team members
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative and inclusive mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and operational improvements
  • Experience with inventory management and stock control procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and identify operational improvement opportunities
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills (preferred)
  • Background in staff training and development (preferred)
