Job Description
The net.AMEIRCA Corporation is seeking an entry-level Application Engineer to assist with the modernization of the Grants Management System and work as a part of the development team. The candidate will provide hands-on coding, code profiling, work closely with client subject matter experts, the functional team and management to ensure the successful development of the solution.
Qualifications
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Java Development – Design / Development / Test (90%)
• Attend Client meetings to discuss system requirements (10%)
Required Skills:
• B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1+ years overall professional experience in Information Technology Consulting and Systems Development
• 1+ years minimum experience in developing applications using Java, J2EE, SQL
• 1+ years in systems development with RDBMS
Preferred Skills
• 1 year experience in using IBM Rational Suite for Requirements Management
• 1 year experience in using IBM Rational ClearCase for source and document versioning
• 1 year experience with Websphere BPM or Process Server/Choreographer
• 1 year experience with Web logic AS
• 1-2 years of experience in agile software development
• 1-2 years of experience in continuous integration
• 1 year experience with Rational Team Concert, Jazz platform
• 1-2 years of experience working in a CMMI Level 3 Systems Integration Environment
