As an Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales growth by identifying new market opportunities and trends. The ideal candidate is outgoing and has a track record of meeting management targets.
Job Description
- Management of existing customers in the market segment
- Acquire new business partners and clients for the business
- Maximize each sales opportunity with the existing and prospective customers while developing and maintaining key client relationship
- Participates in company and industry events and conferences
- Implement sales strategy, including investigating and developing new markets and customers for specific geographies, customers, market and/or product lines as guided by sales and market strategies
- Use pipeline reporting tools efficiently to document activity and manage sales territory
- Develop account tactics (goal setting, time management, and resource allocation)
- Implement account pricing strategy within agreed upon guidelines
- Work with technical and executive staff on development of opportunities for new products and in negotiations
- Communicate value proposition and other critical information to customers
- Acquire key information (sales forecasts, service needs, and market trends) from customers and share with sales/technical/production management to strengthen company position
- Enhance customer relationship marketing to key accounts within assigned territory
- Achieve superior customer satisfaction and ensure customer loyalty at key strategic accounts
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or Business related field
- 3-5 years sales experience
- Proven track record of inside or field sales in the electronics industry, preferred
- Multilingual is a plus
