Dewey Smart (deweysmart.com) is an education technology company that provides personalized tutoring, enrichment, and college admissions counseling services to high school students. Our platform connects students with college students from top schools for mentorship from freshman year to college and beyond.

In addition to 1-1 mentorship, we offer a platform of resources -- a database of startup internships, summer programs, and admissions counseling curriculum. With how rapidly college admissions is changing, we feel well positioned to help our students find their own path through high school.

 

Job Description

  • Share Dewey Smart's offerings with parents, students, and families in initial consultations with leads
  • Nurture leads with active email, text, and phone follow-ups
  • Management of our CRM tool to automate follow-ups
  • Onboard new students by matching them with a tutor
  • Deepen our relationship with Dewey Smart families by regular check-ins and follow-ups, ensuring that our students always feel supported
  • Identify, nurture, and close deals with institutional clients, like charter schools, K-12 institutions, and employer benefit programs

Qualifications

  • Experience in CRM tools or similar technologies 
  • Experience in sales, especially within K-12 education and preferably with experience selling to institutional clients, with proven metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What's not needed

  • A college degree -- our counselors and tutors are all current college students, so we welcome students
