Job Description
New York location required for weekly onsite work
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter, Creative Development, to join our award-winning team for an iconic American financial services brand. You will write for a variety of campaign deliverables including social posts, online video for social, TV and more. You will create everything from national TV broadcast campaigns, to social campaigns celebrating the latest trends, to buzzy experiential work and more. You will be paired with a Senior Art Director. You will report to a Group Creative Director.
Accountabilities
Provide copywriting and concepts on multiple projects and deliverables, including manifestos, scripts, digital and content
Self-edit and review all deliverables for grammatical and formatting issues, ensuring strategy understanding and clients' tone, style, audience, and goals
Understand and find excitement in diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends
Collaborate with a partner on projects of any size, scope and style through to completion
You will concept and write for all deliverables, developing campaigns, comps, story boards and mockups across multiple projects, deliverables and clients simultaneously
Contribute work to pitches
Manage the daily progress of a project from start to finish
Collaborate with Art Directors, Producers, Designers, and Strategy Partners across the life span of the project
Partner with Account teams to manage client and internal expectations
Rally, mentor and support junior associates to meet project goals on time, on budget and with an unforgiving eye on quality
Give and receive constructive feedback
Comfortable with production and post-production
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in the creative advertising industry
- A portfolio with conceptual thinking, and some TV/broadcast script writing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field
- In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
- Client-facing experience
- A demonstrated love of writing
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
