Job Description

dentsu creative is looking for an SVP of Communications Strategy. You will build trusted relationships with our clients, creating media plans, and working with our media and creative teams to bring them to life. You will be reporting to our EVP, Head of Strategy. This role is hybrid and based in New York City.

Responsibilities:

·       Build relationships with clients quickly, and get to the heart of how they run their business and how planning and strategy support their overall business goals

·       Be recognized as a trusted advisor on the businesses that you lead, by making meaningful recommendations, providing a clear POV that impacts decision-making in tangible ways.

·       Lead the IAT and bring our work together across dentsu creative, the client and our agency partners to implement strategy

·       Spearhead our end-to-end strategic roadmap and lead annual planning for clients

·       Work upstream to integrate teams and bridge the gap between creative and media

·       Develop comprehensive communication plans and partner with creative to bring plans to life in interesting spaces and places

·       Mentor accomplished creative strategists who inspire provocative work

·       Develop big strategic platform ideas grounded in data, rich in insight that steward growth

 

Qualifications

·       10+ years of industry experience

·       Storied success in selling in creative ideas to clients. Ability to present in front of C-level executives

·       Experience weaving data into compelling insights for Fortune 500 clients

·       Experience working with a creative agency to solve client issues

·       Experience managing internal teams while collaborating with other external agencies and partners

·       Experience working as a strategic lead and overseeing a discipline at a large agency

·       Experience winning new business pitches for a large agency

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $163,000-$263,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
