Job Description

We are looking to add a Manager, Media Planner to our team based in New York City, NY or remote working on a multinational consumer goods portfolio brand. You will join a team enthusiastic to support you and your career goals.

You will report to the Associate Director, Media Planner, and you, yourself, will manage 2 direct reports (1 Associate and 1 Senior Associate). You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space primarily TV, but also Radio, Print, and available media research and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines
  • 2+ years of media planning experience with TV (including Cost Outs, Media Math), Radio and Print
  • Coordinate with creative on creative assets and accounts needs
  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of channels
  • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
  • Help evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Experience w/ analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
  • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
  • Manage 1 Associate and 1 Sr. Associate - level team member on a daily basis

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of media planning experience
  • 2+ years of media planning experience in TV (including Cost Outs, Media Math), Radio and Print
  • 2+ years of experience with various media tools such as: Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools
  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams
  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Experience facilitating growth and managing and/ or mentoring / training multiple team members

Desired, Not Required

  • Experience working on a large, portfolio brand
  • Experience Managing 1+ junior teammates

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,400 - $83,375 Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
