Job Description

Dentsu's master data management (MDM) team utilizes Semarchy for mastering critical enterprise data domains such as client, customer, etc for driving data governance, efficient operations, and improving the quality and trust of our data and insights. The data analyst role involves analysis of review and analysis of data from new sources onboarded to master data products, analysis of data within data products for data quality, and other ad hoc data analysis for supporting development, maintenance, and innovation related to our data operations. The data analyst will closely work with business and technical teams to design, develop, execute data analysis, document and present data analysis results.

You will report to the manager on the team and this role is open to remote or hybrid employees.

Qualifications

Core Requirements:

1. Has a Computer Science or numerate degree.

2. 1 year of SQL or Python experience working in a professional environment.

3. Database design using normalisation techniques.

4. Has used a reporting tool like Tableau or Power BI.

5. Is very experienced at using MS Excel for data modelling.

6. Experienced in designing Entity Relationship Diagrams.

7. Experienced at resolving data quality issues.

8. Has worked in an Agile environment (using Jira or Azure DevOps or other agile technologies).

9. Worked on internal stakeholder or customer projects.

10. Must be a team player.

11. Must be a strong problem solver.

 

The following are preferred requirements:

1. Knowledge of statistical techniques to understand data.

2. Knowledge of machine learning or AI.

3. Knowledge of either Python, R, Julia or Excel Macros.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
