Job Description

Dentsu Creative (part of dentsu) & MKTG's sub-division of Field & Event Staffing is HIRING Part-Time On-Site Brand Ambassadors for a program that will take place on a local college campus in the BOISE, IDAHO area.

For members of college communities, this is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience within Experiential Marketing and establish a relationship with MKTG/Dentsu Creative for future opportunities.

PROGRAM FOCUS: Engage the student community with an exciting offer of 50% off a popular subscription service and achieve free 30-day trial membership sign-ups (on behalf of a national retail brand).

BRAND AMBASSADOR ROLE:

Brand Ambassadors are marketing enthusiasts who educate consumers on our client's brand messaging during on-site live events. Brand Ambassadors will engage with consumers and event attendees with the goal of increasing brand awareness, building consumer trust, maximizing partner satisfaction, resulting in membership/subscription sign-ups.

You must be well-spoken, and comfortable approaching people and fellow students to explain the service and benefits. We are looking for people who are courageous when approaching the public and super friendly with great energy! Participate in trainings to become familiar with the service that we are promoting. Help with light setup/breakdown of the promotional area. Candidates with sales experience are ideal. Candidates who have had involvement in the student community would do well in this job.

Will work on-site / on-location and must have own method of transportation to and from the event.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

Events will surround each college campus' "Back to School-Welcome" event. As such, some events may be held outdoors.

Location: Boise, IDAHO

  • Monday, August 19, 2024: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Tuesday, August 20, 2024: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Wednesday, August 21, 2024: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Monday, August 26, 2024: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Tuesday, August 27, 2024: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

PAID VIRTUAL TRAINING: Each hired staff member must attend a 2-day (2 hours each) PAID virtual training call, which includes a live, interactive video call, a review of our training deck/module and a short quiz. Training dates will take place on: 

Day 1: All Staff Training: Thursday 8/15/24: 2:00 PM PST – 2 hours  

Day 2: All Staff training: Friday 8/16/24: 2:00 PM PST – 2 hours

  • Able to help with light set-up of a promotional footprint.
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Experienced with technology: this campaign requires the ability to guide consumers through a paid membership service that is web and app-based.
  • Comfortable standing on feet during shifts and potentially outdoors
  • Must have a smartphone (iOS or Android)
  • Must have own method of transportation to and from the event
  • 18+ years old and able to work in US

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00 per hour. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.

You will be a Part-Time Occasional Hourly W2 employee.

Must be 18+ and be able to work in the US (have valid and non-expired documentation)

If hired, there is potential for future event-work in the local area on behalf of other brands. This is a great opportunity for any students or recent grads who want to break into the world of event marketing and sales. Brand Ambassadors must sign all required onboarding forms and must follow our Policies and Procedures.
