Job Description

We are looking for a Adobe Commerce Solutions Architect. You will create scalable, maintainable, and well-documented solutions based on the Magento software platform or other PHP-based platforms. You will create complex site architectures to support multiple integration points, oversee the implementation of the design, attend client discovery meetings, estimate new projects, explain technical concepts to clients and non-technical teammates, and help resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third-party services, developing complex features for our clients' needs.
  • You will assist our sales teams in project estimation and questions that arise during the pre-sales process.
  • You will engage with partners to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • You will use Mobile First, Responsive Web Design, and UX concepts with the ability to put them into practice.
  • You will design and implement development and testing workflows.
  • You will quickly learn new processes, software, and technology and apply it to your daily routine.
  • You will improve web server configurations and scaling web applications.
  • You will create engaging and interactive e-commerce applications.
  • You will build back-end and front-end code for web applications.
  • You will stay ahead of web developments and trends and are passionate about collaborating with like-minded teams of engineers to share your interests.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex Adobe Commerce implementations.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and rest of the Adobe Martech suite.
  • Experienced with Adobe Commerce re-platforming and data migration from other commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce architecture to manage integrations and data flows with external systems like ERP/POS, PIM, middleware while using methodologies such as API and flat files.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
  • Experience engaging with partners to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • Broad knowledge of program, project, and knowledge management processes and tools.
  • In-depth experience translating account needs into a strategic implementation plan.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation and leadership. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communications, including presentations to senior management.
  • Must have a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of issues within the Internet economy, which may include third-party solution providers and competitors.
  • Experience defining new architectures and ability to guide an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
  • Expertise in online, on-demand technologies and modern training methods.
  • 7+ years’ PHP development experience required.
  • Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Zend framework.
  • In-depth experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript & JQuery, XML, MySQL, PHP.
  • Proficiency with PHP and MySQL from an OOP perspective, database schema design, LAMP Server administration.
  • You want to participate in project planning, design review, and architectural meetings.
  • Competent knowledge of e-commerce data organization and relationships

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000k-$182,850k. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Our incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
