Job Description

As the Senior Analyst, you will support the Pricing Strategy – Competitive Insights team of one the largest Home Improvement Industry in the US. You will work with leadership to analyze market trends in the home improvement industry, create pricing initiatives, design/improve competitive pricing strategies and consult on driving business KPIs and reporting. We are looking for domain understanding (Retail/e-commerce space, Web Scraping), technical knowledge, along with strategy consulting experience to achieve success. This is a remote position, reporting to an Analytics Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with clients to discuss and understand their needs.
  • You will design data collection strategies and work with the web scraping team to break down the needs into data requirements.
  • You will build and manage SQL based automation pipelines to ensure scrape data is available for reporting.
  • You will summarize data findings to create insights, develop strategic presentations and consult on achieving success metrics
  • You will use techniques and frameworks to identify and scope the business use case. Create solutions to ensure business-aligned outcomes through collaborative iterations and feedback
  • You will support the business in achieving excellence through analytical/consulting solutions and data-driven insights.
  • You will work with a global team (USA-based) and help coordinate with all partners to guide progress on workstreams
  • You will oversee end-to-end communication and collaboration with multiple partners, global teams, across the client organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in retail analytics preferably around the pricing and/or merchandising analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery preferred)
  • Experience building data backed presentations for senior pricing and merchandising leaders
  • Advanced Tableau skills
  • Understand and application of descriptive statistics
  • Client expectation management skills

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
