The Accounts Receivable Manager will play a crucial role in the Finance Department, reporting to the Head of Operational Finance to lead process improvements within the Accounts Receivable and OTC (Order to Cash) team. Your primary responsibility is to manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team.

Cash Application: You will oversee daily cash application, improve processes, and ensure posting of all receipts. You will enhance internal controls and real-time visibility into client accounts.

Cash Collections: You will collaborate with Project Accounting/Billing teams to ensure accurate invoices. You will improve collections, follow credit insurance programs, and facilitate proper client setup.

Month End Close: You will meet, maintain internal controls, report accurate client aging balances, and review balance sheet reconciliations.

Accounting Operations Support: You will facilitate communication and standardization between accounting operations and client teams.

Staff Development: You will oversee and develop the Accounts Receivable team, balancing individual contributions and goals.

Client Team Support: You will coordinate with the direct manager to provide excellent customer service and improve efficiency and visibility among partners.

ERP Platform: You will be a Subject Matter Expert for the Accounts Receivable and Credit and Collections modules, driving improvements and applying system efficiencies.

Other Responsibilities: You will handle ad hoc projects and requests.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years' experience in the Accounting/Finance field, with 3+ years as a supervisor/manager
  • Month end close experience
  • Excellent change management skills
  • Experience with process improvement and improving process workflows
  • Experience with complex, integrated accounting systems
  • Ability to resolve complex operational and accounting issues
  • System platform skills

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-110,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
