Job Description

This is a position supporting a digital experimentation center of excellence at a top tier global organization. In this role, you will work closely with client leaders to understand business problems arising from a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement.

This will involve designing analytical solutions, building data pipelines to process very large data sets across hundreds of features, elevating the overall quality and effectiveness of the digital testing platform and delivering actionable insights at scale.

Typical problem statements involve (a mix of) A/B testing, customer journey analytics and developing intuitive data stories aligned with the company's strategic goals to drive business growth and enhance the digital customer experience.

To crush this role, you will need technical acumen to derive data driven solutions, and consulting experience to effectively understand problems before synthesizing analytical outcomes and driving actionability and impact through presentations to senior leaders. Understanding causal interference modeling methodologies will be a plus.Strong SQL and Python coding language.

  • You will report to a Director of Data Science
  • You have strong Microsoft skills (required Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You have experience working in GCP or other cloud computing services
  • You will have execution and oversight of advanced analytical tasks, explaining results to non-technical audiences and providing actionable recommendations
  • You have the ability to identify innovation and automation opportunities resulting in improved process efficiency and/or accuracy
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs in order to plan and implement data driven solutions involving a global team
  • Support organizational efforts towards team engagement, performance management and team mentorship
  • Consult on data strategies and own the execution of those strategies when needed
  • Participate in business development initiatives (building proposals for new projects etc.) as necessary

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with analytics and consulting
  • Must have project management and programming experience
  • Expertise with metric reporting, testing processes and test automation
  • Proficiency in complex querying, joining, and manipulating raw datasets for analysis using SQL
  • Proficiency with cloud computing services
  • Good understanding of Business finance
  • Bachelor's in computer science (preferred) or any other engineering degree; Advanced degree preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000-$126,500. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
