Job Description

We are looking for an SVP of Paid Social. Reporting to the EVP of Paid Social, you will manage a large department of paid social professionals. You will set the team structure, shape team culture and communicate macro trends in paid media to clients and internal teams. We ask that you have deep digital subject matter expertise, team leadership experience and operational skills. Executive-level client management and experience winning new business for paid social are critical competencies in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience leading large teams (20 people+)
  • Subject matter level knowledge of paid social, as well as an understanding of working with creative teams
  • Re-think/operationalize the agency in a way that makes the most sense for our growing and evolving client base (standardize briefing, planning & optimization processes)
  • Participate in new business pitches; act as a Paid Social SME for current and potential clients
  • Support more effective media operations integration and best practices with dentsu's Media teams to ensure 100% error-free activation
  • Support leadership team in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders
  • Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy

Qualifications

 

  • 12+ years' of experience working at digital media agencies, with a focus on paid media
  • Experience managing teams of minimum 20+ individuals in multiple locations
  • Data driven, expert level performance media experience is required - both in platform and knowledge around broader industry trends
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "change the game", and a self-starter
  • This role is hybrid - you must be based in the NYC area

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $163,000-263,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
