Job Description

We are looking for a Production Designer to join our Performance Creative team, focused on several of our financial services clients with an emphasis on print and direct mail. You will make all necessary updates to digital and print collateral including envelopes, letters, inserts, self-mailers, posters, email, landing pages, display and social ads, and infographics under the specific direction of the account and creative teams. Visual design and production execution expertise are necessary to this position in supporting high-volume campaigns in a team-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with account, project management, creative, editorial, production and other teams to complete requested work
  • Receive projects and direction through email
  • Receiving projects, direction and working in project management programs
  • Locate and manage creative files, PDFs, and addition assets on a shared server
  • Interpret and implement markups/direction from client teams
  • Preflight and versioning of creative files • Routing files to editorial teams for review of edits and content
  • Release files to our teams and external vendors
  • Editing InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator files
  • May create process documentation specific to clients
  • Meet quality assurance and accuracy standards for all deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Visual design and production execution skills: reading markups/direction and implementing edits from client teams, releasing files
  • Experience working with print and digital assets: envelopes, letters, inserts, self-mailers, posters, email, landing pages, display and social ads, infographics
  • Experience with preflighting and versioning of creative files
  • Knowledge of all the latest design tools, platforms, languages, and versions of applicable software programs
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Understanding of the mechanics of development/coding for email, landing pages, display and social ads (valuable but not required)
  • Understanding of typical creative agency workflows
  • Experience working in digital workflow applications
  • Project management skills
  • Portfolio of work showcasing creative design or production execution
  • Acombination of print and digital experience: envelopes, letters, inserts, self-mailers, posters, email, landing pages, display and social ads, infographics
  • Experience with branding and company identity — following and enforcing style guidelines

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,750 per year. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
